This year we took part in Holt in Bloom with various activities and events. As part of the event the children took part in a competition to design the Holt In Bloom logo for the Holt Community Gardener’s. The children also took part in a sunflower competition and as part of our Eco Week planted flowers in wellies to create our Very Hungry Caterpillar at the front of school.
We would like to say a huge congratulations to this year’s Holt in Bloom logo competition winner, Abigail! Also a big well done to William and Elliot for being the runners up!
Our winners of the sunflower competition for the healthiest looking sunflowers are Megan, Max and Reeva! Da iawn ti!
As a school we are really proud of the award ‘Keep Growing’ we received from Wales In Bloom for our Very Hungry Caterpillar planter.
