To kick off our Eco week, pupils took part in a whole school workshop about Hafren Dyfrdwy and what jobs they do to provide us with clean water. We talked about what we use water for, the water cycle, water systems and how we can save water. We also learnt about what we can and can’t put down the toilet. We made a pledge to not waste water and to only flush pee, poo and paper down the toilet (the 3 app’s).
Dosbarth Brenig and Dosbarth Tegid took part in further workshops about water efficiency. They looked at how much water is used for different items and how they can reduce the amount of water they use daily.
