Eisteddfod Darland

We were incredibly proud to share the fantastic news last week, that we were named the overall winners of the Darland Cluster Eisteddfod once again. The standard across the cluster was extremely high, making this achievement even more special. Our children rose to the challenge and represented the school with confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm.

There were many outstanding individual performances across a wide range of categories. In the recitation competition for years 3 & 4, Harriet achieved an excellent 3rd place, while Bodie secured 1st place with a confident and impressive performance for years 5 & 6. Our choir also performed beautifully, earning 3rd place against strong competition. A huge well done to Tilly and Megan also, for competing individually.

Creative talents were on full display too. William came 2nd for his 2D artwork, showing great skill and imagination, and Aliza was awarded 2nd place for her delicious cookies. In the photography category, we were especially delighted to see both Fin and Harriet achieve 1st place, a wonderful reflection of their creativity and eye for detail.

The competition was strong throughout the afternoon and every child who took part should be extremely proud of their efforts. Their hard work, commitment and willingness to try their best truly paid off. Da iawn pawb, back to back winners! Llongyfarchiadau mawr i chi gyd!🥇 🏆 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
