We feel very privileged to have been part of the wonderful Amasing Aspire Project this year. The project started with two of our Wellbeing Ambassadors attending a workshop, during which they engaged with pupils from other schools to write a fabulous song entitled ‘Tan y Ddraig’ (Fire of the Dragon). The KS2 Well-being Ambassadors then attended a further workshop at Wrexham FC, to learn and record the song. Following this, we worked together as a whole school to learn nine different songs, as well as taking part in weekly online workshops. This all culminated in our KS2 pupils performing in the Amasing Aspire concert at the William Aston Hall, on 20th June 2023. It was a truly wonderful evening, enjoyed by all and as always, we are immensely proud of the children – gwaith bendigedig pawb! We would also like to say a huge thank you to the Amasing team for pulling together such a wonderful show, our parents for supporting the children and also the Farndon Soapbox Derby Team for their donation which covered our registration costs.
