On Tuesday 11th June, Dosbarth Brenig and Dosbarth Tegid took part in the very first International Day of Play. It is a day to promote the benefits of play and is in respect of Article 31 of the UNCRC ‘Rights of the Child’. The children spent a wonderful morning engaging in play activities, both inside and outside the classroom. They used a variety of skills including teamwork, problem-solving, learning to compromise, resilience, creativity and using their innovation and imagination. They equally had lots of fun!
